Jonathan Higgins
For over 30 years Jonathan has been a fan of trains… Since he was a little boy Jonathan’s been enthusiastic about everything that rides on rails from trolleys to trains. His eyes would light up every time he heard a train horn from a distance. He spent countless hours watching Conrail freight trains in the Middleboro, MA rail yard. He would often visit Edaville Railroad in South Carver, MA, or the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, ME.
Jonathan launched the Train Aficionado Blog in 2013 to share his passion for everything that rides on rails with the world. Whenever trains or trolleys are involved you will find Jonathan with a scanner in one hand and a camera in the other. When he is not out and about chasing trains he is working on his 5′ x 6′ N-Scale layout, watching live rail cams, and listening to his scanners.
