Hop on board! I’ve got some thrilling news for you all. Introducing the Buckeye-Bluegrass Express 2024 Tour! Instead of riding the rails, we’ll be gathering trackside at some of the hottest spots in Ohio, Kentucky, and beyond. Last year, I had the pleasure of hosting a few railfan gatherings and meeting some incredible folks.
This year, I’ve gone all out and planned a jam-packed schedule of stops, complete with a catchy tour name. I can’t wait to connect with more railfans and discover new locations in the area. Speaking of which, there’s no shortage of fantastic railfanning opportunities around Cincinnati. From Ludlow to Glendale and Hamilton, just to name a few. And don’t worry, we’ve got stops outside of Cincinnati too, including Marion, Fostoria, Ohio, and more locations coming soon!
What do you need to bring along?
Some places might not have benches, so it’s a good idea to bring a camp chair. As we get closer to summer, make sure to pack refreshing drinks, snacks, and sunblock. And don’t leave behind your camera and scanner if you have them.
